The Independent's cartoon shows Cameron and Brown in a tree, trousers down, with Clegg - depicted as a bird - below them, covered in the same way that those sitting under birds sometimes are. The Times dips into Monty Python territory, showing Clegg at a window in a parody of the famous scene in Life of Brian. Cameron claims "He's not the MessiahÂ…" with Brown adding that "Â…he's a very naughty boy!" And the Guardian depicts some monstrous-looking journalists from the "crazy old Tory Press" throwing David Cameron at a fragrant-looking Nick Clegg.
