Man's footpath death 'suspicious'

The death of a man who was found lying seriously injured on a footpath is being treated as suspicious, police have said.

The 41-year-old man was found on a footpath in Prospecthill Circus in the Toryglen area of Glasgow at about 1630 BST on Sunday.

He was taken to the Victoria Infirmary in the city where he died.

A post-mortem examination will be carried out to establish the cause of death.
