Britain denies Iran's claims that the UK crew was in its waters when seized on 23 March and is demanding their "immediate" return. Speaking before the service, Rev Caddy said: "We are very worried about her, we have been praying for her.
"We are praying for their safe release and that they will be treated well and that they will be home soon with their families and communities.
"The community is very concerned and they are sharing their concerns with each other. As a church community our prayers are with them."
Choir singer Noah Hoskins said he was thinking of LS Turney's mother, who is the leader of the church choir, and her father.
He said: "I should imagine they are very distraught. The family are very much part of the community and regularly come to church.
"We are all very concerned about what is happening. I am praying for the safe return of Faye and all the others."

Church warden Neil Harris said: "I am sure all the parishioners are praying very hard for Faye and for the other people involved.
