Britons killed in S Africa crash

Two British female students have been killed in a road accident in north-eastern South Africa, according to emergency services.

At least 18 other people were injured in the crash east of Johannesburg, near Nelspruit, which is one of the nine host cities for the football world cup.

It is understood all those injured are tourists, and are a mixture of British and Candian citizens.

Four are critically injured and have been taken to hospital.

Fourteen others are being treated for minor injuries, South African ambulance service ER 24, said.
