Two 15-year-old boys have been arrested by detectives investigating the death of an 18-year-old in Southampton.

Lewis Singleton, of Upper Weston Lane, was stabbed in an incident in Obelisk Road in the early hours of Saturday.

A 16-year-old was held on Sunday over the death and police have been granted a warrant extension to continue to quiz two 18-year-olds arrested on Saturday.

Two men, aged 26 and 28, were also arrested on Saturday. They have since been released without charge.

All five teenagers are in custody.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said Mr Singleton died from stab wounds to the abdomen.

Obelisk Road and Condor Close remain cordoned off while the area is examined.

Police are also carrying out house-to-house inquiries in the Woolston area.
