Version 0 of 1.

The number of officers working on the probe into the murder of Nairn banker Alistair Wilson has been reduced.

Northern Constabulary said it made the decision due to the lack of any new leads in the case.

At its peak 63 officers were working on the case - one of the largest investigations in the force's history.

Now up to four officers remain on the investigation into the shooting of the 30-year-old on the door step of his home in November 2004 at any one time.

A force spokesman said it was still a live murder case and any new information would be acted upon.
