(about 12 hours later)
A woman has been charged with the murder of her partner at a house in Gwynedd earlier this week. A mother-of two accused of murdering her partner had been a victim of "prolonged and sustained domestic violence," a court has heard.
Wendy Ellis, 40, a mother-of two, will appear before Llangefni magistrates court on Friday morning. Wendy Ellis, 40, appeared before Llangefni magistrates court on Friday.

A post mortem examination was conducted at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, by Home Office pathologist Dr Brian Rodgers. The court granted Ms Ellis conditional bail until a hearing at Caernarfon Crown Court on 20 April.
The prosecution sought to remand Ms Ellis in custody.
However, a £12,000 surety was accepted and she was instructed to live at a Bangor bail hostel and surrender her passport.
'Jekyll and Hide'
Michael Strain, defending, told the court she had no intention of killing Mr McCauley.
The court heard how police were called to the house after a 999 call from Ms Ellis. She said Mr McCauley had been drunk and attacked her.
Mr McCauley had served in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers for several years.
Mr Strain said in court that Mr McCauley had been thrown out of the army. He said he developed a drink problem and took matters out on the defendant.
He was a "Jekyll and Hyde" character, Mr Strain added.
He said Ms Ellis had been attacked previously, on one occasion suffering a broken jaw which required two metal plates to be inserted.
He said she subsequently withdrew complaints against her partner.
Prosecutor Jack Roberts told the court how in 2005 Mr McCauley had been taken to hospital with three wounds to the back and shoulders after allegedly being stabbed by Ms Ellis.
According to Mr Roberts, McCauley did not report the matter to the police.
Mr Strain indicated at the beginning of the hearing that he had no objection to the matters being reported.
Reporting restrictions on the hearing were lifted.
