A man has been killed and a woman has been injured after a lorry crashed through the central reservation of a main road. A man has been killed and a woman has been injured after a lorry crashed through the central reservation of a main road into their car.
The lorry crashed on the A48 Eastern Avenue near St Mellons, Cardiff, and collided with a Nissan car with two people inside at around 1000 BST. The bakery lorry crashed on the A48 (M) near St Mellons, Cardiff, and collided with a Nissan car travelling in the opposite direction at 1000 BST.
South Wales Police said a "number of people" had been taken to hospital. South Wales Police said the lorry driver suffered slight injuries.
