More than 300 people are in intensive care with flu, official figures reveal. There's been a dramatic rise in the numbers of people admitted to intensive care with flu, according to government figures.
Latest data from the Department of Health for England show there have been 302 people in intensive care beds. 302 beds are now occupied by flu patients, last week 182 beds were being used.
