Version 0 of 1.

A man has been charged with murdering a 10-year-old Bradford boy shot dead in Pakistan, the Foreign Office said.

Humza Nisar, a pupil at St Philip's Primary School in Girlington, was on a three-week holiday with his family in Mirpur when he died.

It is believed he was killed by a single gunshot as he left his grandfather's house to attend a mosque.

A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "We understand a suspect is on remand under the charge of murder."

No further details have been released.

Humza's mother, Nighat, and his father, Nisar Ahmed, of Upper Woodland Road, Girlington, are still in Pakistan where the funeral has taken place.

Head teacher of St Philip's Church of England Primary School, Judith Bey, has described Humza as a "quiet and reserved boy who was highly respected by all his classmates".
