I agree with the critics: "It is intrusive, old-fashioned and expensive". I also expect the data is not entirely correct due to people make false claims. I don't see any benefit of this exercise.I agree with the critics: "It is intrusive, old-fashioned and expensive". I also expect the data is not entirely correct due to people make false claims. • I for one will enjoy filling in the Census return. No, I'm not in the least bit interested in what the government will do with my information, I'm just pleased to leave a little bit of me on record for future generations to be able to explore. I have enjoyed exploring my family history using old census records and wish to keep up the practice. Please don't stop this valuable social record.I for one will enjoy filling in the Census return. • I am doing my ancestry and this has taken me back so far to the 1700’s. Seeing these relatives own handwriting is wonderful, but difficult to read, so the idea to do it on line is brilliant. I want my great, great grandchildren to see who, what and where I was in 2011. So I will be filling in the form to the best of my ability.I am doing my ancestry and this has taken me back so far to the 1700’s. • Having looked at the questions can find nothing intrusive at all in them. Not as intrusive as questions in the past eg in 1911 census women were asked the following how long married, how many children they had had, how many were alive, how many were dead. Will be more than happy to fill it in because I have nothing to hidHaving looked at the questions can find nothing intrusive at all in them. Not as intrusive as questions in the past eg in 1911 census women were asked the following how long married, how many children they had had, how many were alive, how many were dead. Will be more than happy to fill it in because I have nothing to hid

  • Why in times of economic hardship for so many , is so much money been spent on an outdated survey , surely the money would have been better been ploughed back into public services? Why in times of economic hardship for so many , is so much money been spent on an outdated survey , surely the money would have been better been ploughed back into public services?
