I definitely will be going. As for the cost, going to see Southend United costs over £20 and that's for 90 minutes of 4th division football, so I think £20 for an olympic event is well worth it. I went to the Manchester 2002 Commonwealths and the memory of watching Paula Radcliffe win will live with me for ever. Can't wait 'til 2012.

  • I'm applying for as much as I can: The last time we held an Olympics in this country; my Grandparents were in their twenties and my parents had yet to be born. I think this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity.I understand there's pricing issues for some people but there are so many different events and so many options there's got to be something there for everyone. • I am fed up of the Olympics already, our town has been turned into a bomb-site because of roadworks everywhere just for the Olympic team to drive through on their way to the Sailing events on Portland. The prices are too high for many local people and we will be unable to use our usual Gardens for a walk as they will be "ticket-holders only". None of this is for OUR benefit just some dignitaries.I am fed up of the Olympics already, our town has been turned into a bomb-site because of roadworks everywhere just for the Olympic team to drive through on their way to the Sailing events on Portland. • Despite earning the 'average' wage, I simply cannot justify the cost of going. Too many bills, and ultra-taxes have beaten my finances down. I can't cut my cloth enough to do much of anything. I've even cancelled my TV licence since everything I watch I can get on-line for no cost!Despite earning the 'average' wage, I simply cannot justify the cost of going. • Was at the London 2012 Olympics countdown last night. It was fantastic. Though short duration, the event was magnificent. Have registered to book tickets. Hopefully will be successful.
