Version 0 of 1.

Two men have been arrested by police investigating sexual abuse of a Devon woman who committed suicide in 1989.

The men, aged 59 and 57, were arrested on suspicion of rape and other sexual offences and are in custody at Exeter Police Station.

The body of Belinda Day was disinterred in April for DNA evidence, as police believe she was raped and abused before killing herself at the age of 27.

She died in Budleigh Salterton and was buried in the town's cemetery.

The mother-of-three, who grew up in nearby Exmouth and moved to Exeter when she married, was found dead at the bottom of cliffs at Budleigh Salterton on 3 March 1989.

A coroner later recorded a verdict of suicide.
