Gloucestershire man 'took tractor while drunk'

A man has been charged with making off with a tractor while over the alcohol limit in Gloucestershire.

Police arrested the man 15 minutes after the tractor was reported stolen on Tuesday evening.

It had been taken from a farm in Woodmancote, near Cheltenham, and was found nearby, at the side of the A435 Cheltenham Road.

The man, 42, from Gloucester, allegedly tested positive in a roadside breathalyser test.

He has been charged with driving a motor vehicle without the owner's consent, use of a motor vehicle without third-party insurance and drink-driving.
