A prison van transferring prisoners has overturned in a road incident. Two prisoners and two guards were taken to hospital when a prison van overturned in a road crash.
South Wales Police said the Reliance Security Group vehicle overturned on the A470 by Whitchurch Golf Club in Cardiff at around 1230 BST. The incident happened as the van was travelling from Pontypridd back to Cardiff Prison at around 1230 BST on Wednesday.

The prisoners are now back in Cardiff Prison.
