In February the CQC revealed inspectors had been highly critical of Pilgrim Hospital's patient care and gave the United Lincolnshire Hospital's Trust until Tuesday of this week to make improvements, which managers said they had done. United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust, which runs the hospital, said: "Police are investigating allegations made about an individual member of staff. This member of staff has been suspended from duty while the investigation is ongoing."
