Twelve people were arrested and a man was taken to hospital with severe injuries in a large-scale disturbance in Northamptonshire. Twelve teenagers who were arrested after a man was severely injured in a large-scale disturbance in Raunds have been released on police bail.
The injured man is 20 and suffered life-threatening head injuries in the incident in the early hours. The fracas happened at about 0100 BST on Sunday near a McDonald's restaurant on the A45.
A police spokesman said it was thought a large number of men and women were involved in a fracas near a McDonald's restaurant on the A45 near Raunds. The man, 20, who suffered life-threatening head injuries, is in a "critical but stable" condition in hospital.
The injured man is being treated at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. Northamptonshire Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident.

Four are from Rushden - a 17-year-old boy and three 16-year-old boys.
Two are from Stanwick - two men aged 19 and 18.
And two are from Wellingborough - a 17-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy.
