Man bailed in Milton Keynes double murder inquiry

A 19-year-old man has been bailed after being arrested and questioned over the murders of two Somali teenagers in Buckinghamshire.

Mohamed Abdi Farah, 19, and Amin Ahmed Ismail, 18, were shot on the Fishermead estate in Milton Keynes on 26 May.

Five men, four in their 20s and one aged 31, and a 13-year-old boy have already been released on bail in connection with the murders.

Police said the 19-year-old had been bailed until 24 June.

On Monday, police said they were looking for a group of six men seen shortly after the shooting.

Detectives said they were all black and spoke in a foreign language.

Both victims were from the Somali community and were known to police for low-level criminal activity.

Thames Valley Police said that officers had taken nearly 200 statements and collected more than 350 exhibits.

It said officers were watching seized CCTV footage and the victims' families were being kept updated with the progress of the inquiry.
