Three charged over Ipswich jewellers robbery

Three men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a jewellers in Suffolk.

A gang on motorcycles held up Goldsmiths Jewellers in Tavern Street, Ipswich on Wednesday morning.

The shop window was broken with a sledgehammer and a number of watches were stolen.

Two men, aged 21 and 25 from Essex and a man, 24, from London, are accused of conspiracy to rob and due before Ipswich Magistrates' Court later.

Officers are still trying to trace a fourth man who they want to question in connection with the robbery.
