Murder probe after man found dead in Sheffield

A murder inquiry has begun after the body of a man was found at a house in South Yorkshire.

Police arrived at the property on Batemoor Road in Sheffield on Friday afternoon, where they discovered the body of a 45-year-old man.

Officers said one man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident.

A post-mortem examination is expected to take place later to establish the cause of death.
