A man has been stabbed to death in north London. A man stabbed to death in north London has been named as Andrew Jaipaul.
The victim, who is believed to be 21, was found in Andover Road, Holloway on Sunday at 2220 BST. Mr Jaipaul, 21, of Finsbury Park, was found close to Andover House in Andover Road, Holloway, on Sunday night. He died at the scene, police said.
Ambulance crews arrived at the scene but the man died at the scene, according to a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police. Metropolitan Police officers believe the victim was attacked by a group of up to 20 men.
A post-mortem examination is to take place later. Detectives from the Specialist Crime Directorate are leading the inquiry. A post-mortem examination found he had suffered "multiple incised stab wounds". No arrests have been made and police are appealing for information.
