A woman has doused herself in petrol and is threatening to set herself alight at a petrol station, say police. Police have brought to an end an incident at a petrol station in Cardiff at which they said a woman doused herself in petrol and threatened to set herself alight.
Emergency services were called to the Red Dragon service station in Cardiff at 0808 BST on Tuesday. An area around the Esso garage in the city's Victoria Park was sealed off for five hours from 0808 BST.
A half mile stretch of Cowbridge Road East in the Canton district of the city has been closed and is cordoned off. South Wales Police brought in negotiators to talk to the woman, 28, through a night window.

Roofing contractors Sean Fairclough, 40, and Alan Driscoll, 42, had been about to go into the garage shop at 8am when a cashier fled.
