Mother and girl's bodies examined Daughter had fatal body injuries

The Irish state pathologist is to carry out post mortem examinations on the bodies of a young mother and her daughter in County Donegal. A young girl found dead alongside her mother in County Donegal died from injuries to her body, police have said.
The 26-year-old woman and the seven-year-old child were discovered at Whitehorn Close in Letterkenny, just after 1500 BST on Tuesday. Seven-year-old Katleyn Innis was found at her home in Whitethorn Close on Tuesday afternoon, three days after she made her first Holy Communion.
The body of her mother Catriona, 26, was also found in the house.
It is not known how she died, but gardai say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
The Republic's deputy state pathologist has carried out post mortem examinations on the bodies.
However, gardai said the details would not be released for operational reasons.
