An investigation has been launched into the incident at the club, where a music event had been taking place. Up to 1,300 people were believed to have been at the dance music event.
The event, called DNA Presents Wickedest Wickedest, started at 21:00 BST on Tuesday and was due to go on until 04:00 BST on Wednesday.
A spokesman from University of Northampton would not confirm reports that the dead woman was one of its students, but said the university was talking to police.
