A woman and a teenage boy have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the bodies of a man and a woman were found at a house in Manchester. A man, a woman and a teenage boy have been arrested on suspicion of murder after two bodies were found at a house in Manchester.
Police found the bodies in Belvoir Avenue, Levenshulme, following reports of concern for the welfare of the occupants on Friday morning. Police discovered the bodies of a man and woman - believed to be a couple - in Levenshulme, after concerns were raised about their welfare.
A 36-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy were arrested nearby on suspicion of murder soon afterwards. A man, 42, a 36-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy are being questioned.
They were being questioned in custody by detectives. Greater Manchester Police said the murders were being treated as "domestic-related".
Police were called to the house at Belvoir Avenue on Friday morning.
Identity unknown
A police spokeswoman said: "At this stage police have not identified the victims.
"It has not been possible to trace their next of kin and their exact identity is not known.
"Detectives are treating the murders as domestic related and are not looking for anyone else in connection with this offence."
The woman and teenager were arrested before the man handed himself in to police on Friday afternoon.
