Thousands of demonstrators have shut down part of K Street in Washington DC, known as the home of lobbying in the nation's capital. Dozens of protesters have been arrested by police in the US capital, Washington DC, during a march to protest against the influence of money in politics.
Under heavy rain, police blocked off part of the downtown street during the protest which has been peaceful so far. A total of 62 people were arrested, police told the BBC.
Occupy Wall Street has been protesting against corporate greed and the role of money in politics for several months. Thousands of demonstrators shut down sections of K Street in the city's downtown area, known as the home of lobbying in the nation's capital.
