Both deaths are being treated as "unexplained". A second scene has been set up in Halls Drift where a vehicle, believed to belong to one of the deceased, was discovered.
Post-mortem examinations will take place in due course but police are currently treating both deaths as unexplained, a spokesman said.
Det Ch Insp John Brocklebank said: "The circumstances surrounding these two deaths at this stage are being treated as unexplained.
"We would like to reassure members of the public that the incident will be thoroughly investigated."

He said: "I said I hadn't. They found his light was on. They had to use a crow bar to get in the door and then found a body inside. Paramedics came but they left without taking the body."
