Two people were airlifted to hospital after their car was swept into a swollen river in the Yorkshire Dales. Alerts were issued by the Environment Agency about water levels on the Rivers Ouse, Swale, Ure and Nidd.
By Friday evening flood warnings were in place for lower reaches of the Ouse and parts of the Swale and Ure.
