Man is stabbed to death in street

A man has been stabbed to death in west London during a row in the street in broad daylight, police said.

The victim, aged in his fifties, was involved in a confrontation with another man in West End Road, Southall, about 1315 BST.

He was taken to nearby Ealing Hospital where he died from his injuries. A post-mortem will take place shortly.

The suspect, who was wearing dark clothing, made off down an alleyway towards Townsend Road.
