Heavy rain has caused flooding in mid and south west Wales, closing a main road in both directions. Heavy rain has caused flooding in mid and south west Wales, with firefighters called out to more than 20 incidents.
The A487 is shut between the A485 at Llanfarian and the B4337 in Llanrhystud, near Aberystwyth, and police are directing traffic. Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue diverted flood water from two pubs - The Smiths Arms in Neath Abbey and the Old Black Arms, Ystradgynlais.
In nearby Chancery, fire crews have been called to deal with flood water near some properties. They also received calls for help in Llanelli, Narberth, Tregaron, Glynneath, Morriston and Milford Haven.
The fire service has also been called to Sainsbury's in Tenby after fears flood water could affect the store. At one point the A487 was shut between the A485 at Llanfarian and the B4337 in Llanrhystud, near Aberystwyth.
One lane is closed on the A48 westbound in Carmarthenshire between junction 49 on the M4, the Pont Abraham roundabout, and the A476 on Llandeilo Road. In nearby Chancery, fire crews dealt with flood water near some properties.
There are also reports of flooding on the B4327 between Castle Way in Dale and the B4341 Haven Road, Haverfordwest, but the road is passable. They were also called to Sainsbury's in Tenby after fears flood water could affect the store.
The latest call received was to Café 35 on Main Street in Solva at 15:00 GMT due to the River Solva overflowing and threatening the property.
