The community rescue service have launched a series of searches which began during the night. Police have appealed for information. A police helicopter, police rescue teams and the community rescue service began searching during the night.
Sean McCarry, regional commander of the community rescue service said:
"Our search teams were tasked by the police along with other police search teams to go to the area and continue a very sensitive search.
"That search has now been recommenced at first light this morning with water assets and assets on the ground."
Mr McCarry said about 50 people from his service were involved and about the same number again of police were working to find Mr Booth.
"As time goes on, we are getting more and more concerned about him. If anybody has seen anybody matching his description, please come forward to police," he said.
