A woman has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life at a sheltered housing complex in Cornwall. A woman has appeared at Truro Magistrates Court charged with committing arson with intent to endanger life.
It follows a fire in Sylvan Close, St Austell, on Boxing Day afternoon. Police said no-one was seriously injured in the fire. Karen Broadhurst, 43, of Sylvan Close in St Austell has been remanded in custody until 6 January.
