Tributes have been paid to a "lovely couple" who were discovered dead at a bungalow in the Cynon Valley. | |
The bodies of a 71-year-old man and a woman, 58, named locally as Barry and Kath Haberfield, were found by concerned neighbours in Cwmbach in Aberdare on Tuesday. | |
South Wales Police said they were treating the deaths as "unexplained". Post mortem examinations are due to be carried out. | |

Mrs Davies, 73, said: "We only saw them two days before Christmas Eve and they seemed fine. | |
"Kath had been ill but she had been going to see the doctor and appeared to be managing OK. | |
"They were both lovely people and very good neighbours. It is strange to think we will not ever see them again." | |
