A man has been found dead and a woman taken to hospital with a head injury after police were called to a house in Suffolk. A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after police forced their way into a house in Suffolk and found the body of a man in his 70s.

Officers forced entry to the house and found the body inside. The woman was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital. Officers found the body and the woman, believed to be in her 40s and from the Haverhill area, with a head injury.
The investigation is in its very early stages, police said. She is receiving treatment in hospital and was arrested on Saturday afternoon.
She will be moved to a Police Investigation Centre once discharged from hospital, police said.
A cordon remains at the house while officers conduct further inquiries and scenes of crime officers attend.
Formal identification of the man has not taken place and a post-mortem examination is due to be held to ascertain the cause of death.
Suffolk Police appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
