Version 0 of 1.

Thieves doused the manager of a west Belfast off-licence with petrol and threatened to set him on fire if he did not get them money.

He was entering the Springfield Road shop early on Sunday morning, when he was shoved by two men.

One was armed with a hand gun and the other had a claw hammer. They told him to open two safes and the till.

When he said that he could not, he was punched, struck with a gun and covered in petrol.

He was told if he did not open the safes, he would be set alight.

He opened them and the thieves escaped with an undisclosed sum of cash through a door at the back of the shop into an alleyway.
