Version 0 of 1.

An aristocrat has been cleared of raping a 16-year-old girl in Oxford.

James Murray, 42, the son of the Earl of Mansfield, said he had a consensual sexual relationship with the girl, now 17.

The prosecution claimed he had carried out the rape in June 2010 after getting the girl drunk on vodka.

Mr Murray told Oxford Crown Court he had sexual relations with the teenager at his flat over several days, but had "deep feelings of unease" about it.

The girl, a foster child, had "installed herself" in the flat after becoming friends with him and helping him identify who had stolen bicycles from his block of flats, the court heard.
