Bomb hoax charge after Prince Albert Junior School evacuated

A man has been charged with making a hoax bomb report after a school was evacuated and nearby roads closed in November.

More than 800 staff and pupils were evacuated from the Prince Albert Junior and Infant School in Aston, Birmingham.

West Midlands Police said a 33-year-old, from Bradford, West Yorkshire, has been charged in connection with the security alert.

He is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on 25 January.
