Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a Leicester businessman at a takeaway.

The body of Dogan Dogan, 50, was found in his flat above Aladdin Pizza in Linton Street, Evington, on 8 January.

The two men arrested in connection with the incident, aged 46 and 31, are currently in police custody.

Police have said the victim was found tied up but have not revealed the cause of death. Officers are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Mr Dogan, described by his family as a "well respected family man", is believed to have spent some of Saturday evening before he was found at another Leicestershire shop he ran, Pizzaman in Lutterworth.

Police have handed out leaflets in the Linton Street area in a search for more information.
