An explosion has rocked the waterfront area of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, killing at least four people, security sources say. An anti-Syrian MP is among at least four people killed in an explosion in Beirut's waterfront area, Lebanese media and officials say.
The blast occurred near an amusement park and club used by military personnel, officials said. Walid Eido died in the blast, in the Manara neighbourhood, the sources said.
Television pictures showed a burning car and widespread debris. At least 10 other people were wounded, emergency services said.

Television pictures from the scene showed plumes of black smoke and wrecked cars.
Debris was shown scattered across a wide area, with windows of surrounding buildings blown out by the blast.
