Police say a person has fallen from the M4 Briton Ferry Bridge near Neath. A man who fell from the M4 Briton Ferry Bridge near Neath has died, police have said.
One of the westbound lanes between junction 41 at Baglan and junction 42 at the Earlswood roundabout was closed earlier causing some disruption. Officers are investigating after emergency services were called to the scene just before 09:30 GMT.
South Wales Police say the lane has now reopened with traffic flowing freely again in both directions. A westbound lane between junction 41 at Baglan and junction 42 at the Earlswood roundabout was closed for several hours causing some disruption.
It is not known what injuries the person who fell sustained. South Wales Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His relatives have been informed.
