The number of deaths stands at 437 after Lt Edward Drummond-Baxter and L/Cpl Siddhanta Kunwar, both of 1st Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles, attached to 40 Commando Royal Marines, were shot dead by a man wearing a local police uniform on 30 October. The number of deaths stands at 438 after a soldier serving with The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland was shot dead by a man wearing an Afghan army uniform in the Nad-e Ali district of Helmand Province on 11 November.
