Bernard Linney, 46, is accused of killing Rosa Linney on 21 June by repeatedly striking her with an axe. The attack is alleged to have happened at the home she shared with her son on Morar Street, Methil, in Fife. Mr Linney appeared in private at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court but made no plea and was remanded in custody. The case will be re-called next week. |
