Three Royal Ascot racegoers have been taken to hospital, one with serious head injuries, after their coach overturned, Thames Valley Police say. A Royal Ascot racegoer was seriously injured after the coach taking her home overturned, Thames Valley Police said.
The person with serious head injuries was airlifted to hospital in Oxford, South Central ambulance service said. The woman, in her late 20s, was airlifted to hospital after suffering serious head injuries. A 30-year-old woman and a man, 31, were also hurt.
The coach driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

The remainder of the passengers were taken to a rest centre, police said. The coach driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
The accident happened in Sunninghill Road, which has been closed. The driver remained in custody in the early hours of Sunday morning, police said.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said the person who was airlifted was in the neurological unit of the Oxford hospital for observation. Broken bones

A South Central ambulance service spokeswoman said the woman in her 20s was airlifted to the JR2 hospital in Oxford.
Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, but she remained in the hospital's neurological unit for observation, the spokeswoman added.
