Version 0 of 1.

Rail disruption is continuing after heavy storms caused flash floods in parts of Glasgow.

Services in and out of Queen Street Station were affected on Friday after rising water dumped debris on the line.

Trains to and from Edinburgh were operating on a reduced frequency on Saturday and services to Aberdeen were also affected.

First ScotRail said problems were also continuing on the line between Partick and Larkhall.

The south side of the city bore the brunt of the flooding on Friday, when fire crews received almost 30 calls for assistance in the space of three hours.

The Shawlands, Clarkston, Langside, Battlefield and Polmadie areas were said to be the worst hit, while there were also problems in Springburn, Calton and Yorkhill.

In one incident firefighters dealt with flood water which had been threatening an electricity sub-station in Langside.

On the trains, services between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh were running every half hour on Saturday.

Services to and from Aberdeen were stopping at Springburn, which is linked to Queen Street through a low level service.

Alterations, cancellations and delays were expected to some other services, including those between Queen Street and Cumbernauld.
