Three people have been charged with the murder of a disabled man, police say.

Two 19-year-old men and a woman, 42, all from Stoke-on Trent, have been charged with killing Gregory Baker, 61, of Alton, Staffordshire.

His body was found on 16 June by carers paying a routine visit to his cottage. The accused will appear before Stoke magistrates on Monday.

A boy, aged 17, who was also questioned, was released without charge, said Staffordshire Police.

Officers were called to Mr Baker's home in Gallows Green, Alton, last Saturday.
