Guardian Open Weekend: a look ahead Guardian Open Weekend: a look ahead
(about 4 hours later)
Tomorrow, the Guardian will open its doors to around 5,000 readers for our first ever Open Weekend. Guest speakers and performers from around the world will join Guardian staff – from journalists and digital developers to photographers and executives – to take part in over 200 conversations, debates, performances and workshops. We'll be opening up all areas of the paper, from our leader room to our TV reviews desk, and debating the most pressing issues of our time, from the web to the Arab spring. Guardian editor Alan Rusbridger will interview Steve Coogan, Sol Campbell will discuss racism and football and Decca Aitkenhead will do the G2 interview with Grayson Perry in front of a live audience.Tomorrow, the Guardian will open its doors to around 5,000 readers for our first ever Open Weekend.
