Version 0 of 1.

A man police want to speak to after the death of a Polish student has appeared in court on an unrelated matter.

Peter Tobin, 60, appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court accused of failing to keep authorities informed of his whereabouts.

He was arrested for an alleged failure to comply with the Sexual Offences Act. He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.

He worked in a Glasgow church where the body of Angelika Kluk was found.

The 23-year-old from Gdansk, who was on a working holiday, was reported missing on Monday 25 September.

Her body was found in St Patrick's church, Anderston, on Friday 29 September.

Mr Tobin worked as an odd job man at the church.

He was arrested on warrant in London after he allegedly failed to keep the authorities informed of his whereabouts.

It is alleged that between 23 and 31 October last year, being a person who was subject to notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act, he failed without reasonable excuse to comply with conditions and notify police of a change of address.

Sheriff David Pender continued the case for further examination.
