Seven people have been killed and three injured in a shooting at a California college, police say. The gunman who killed seven people and injured three others at a California college has been named by police as 43-year-old One Goh.
Armed officers swarmed Oikos University in the city of Oakland after the mid-morning attack. Bodies covered with tarpaulin were laid outside. Oakland police chief Howard Jordan said the shooter opened fire in a classroom at Oikos University.
After a huge manhunt the suspect was detained at a shopping centre in the nearby city of Alameda, police said. The suspect, a former student at the college, surrendered at a supermarket in nearby Alameda city.
