Boy charged over teenager's death

A teenage boy has been charged with murder after an 18-year-old was stabbed in a London street.

Abdul Shahin, from Manor Park in east London, was found with stab wounds in Ramsgill Drive, in nearby Ilford, shortly after midnight on Wednesday.

The teenager was taken to King George's Hospital but died soon after arrival.

The 17-year-old boy who has been charged is due to appear before Redbridge Magistrates' Court later, the Metropolitan Police said.
