In 2012-13, there are aso scholarships for home undergraduate students who achieve AAB or equivalent: £1,500 in year 1 and £1,000 in subsequent years if students achieve at 2:1 level or above. ABB scholarships: worth £3,500 over the duration of a three-year degree, to all home and EU students who achieve ABB or higher in their A-levels (or equivalent).
National Scholarship Programme: includes £1,500 off tuition fees in year 1, £1,000 towards first-year accommodation in the student village plus £500 of university services such as food, printing, photocopying etc.
Ford scholarships: Ford is providing sponsorship of £10,000 a student over a three-year period.

Prices for rooms in the university's on-campus sustainable student village ranged from £85.55 to £93 a week in 2011-12, and rooms in university-nominated halls near the School of Management were £91 a week.

Bradford has a freecity bus that runs every few minutes from early morning until early evening, Mondays to Saturdays, connecting the university to the train stations and shopping hub. The UBUS is a free safety bus service run by the student union during term-time to transport students and staff anywhere within a two-mile radius of campus.
